Good morning!
My fourteenth release, DEAD FOLK, is now available wherever books are sold!
You can now grab this for $10 in paperback anywhere where books are sold or for only 99¢ in ebook. Check out the links here to grab yours!
This anticipated sequel to UNDEAD FOLK follows Janet’s continuing quest for revenge for the murder of her fathers and need for solace. What you’ll find in these pages will hopefully electrify you and have you clambering for more of Janet and her undead animal companions… More on that further below.
I’d like to thank everyone who supported the first book. I never knew this would develop into something more than a small grief-centric book, something that I felt I needed to put out into the world to quell my inner writing demons. I love to write grief horror. It makes me feel whole inside. The opportunity to keep dipping back into these characters’ stories is so rewarding and the fact that so many people have enjoyed it really warms my heart.
Thanks to my buddy, Lucas, for giving me a killer blurb for DEAD FOLK, too. I’m honored to have your words as a fellow grief horror author on it.

In related news…

Guess who’s signed on to narrate the audiobooks in The Deadlands trilogy? (gasp: what? It’s coming!).
The extraordinarily talented actress, Lisa Roumain, is lending her vocal prowess to Undead Folk as we speak and will be following up with Dead Folk soon after. Very excited to have her back on board after all of her amazing work with The Wild Dark and The Wild Fall. Keep an eye out for those releases soon…
Hang on. You said “trilogy” and I’m not going to let that go.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
There’s another book coming after Dead Folk.
If it were to follow the pattern, I suppose I’d just name this one “Folk” but that’s not the title. Want to know what it is? You’ll have to read Dead Folk and find out. Or…just watch this space next week…
That’s everything I have for Deadlands related news for you today! Go grab yourselves a copy of Undead Folk and Dead Folk if you haven’t already and jump on the train for that sweet sweet Book 3…
Until next time,
Kat
